This new set has a total of 1,558 pieces and it will retail in the US for $199.99 CA $ 249.99, DE € 199.99, and UK £ 169.99. This is indeed a great a collectors set. The detail in this set is mind-blowing and also its size. This beast measures a whopping 10″ (26cm) high, 20″ (52cm) long and 18″ (46cm) wide! That huge!
This UCS set comes with one and only one minifigure being the iconic R2-D2. LEGO did a great job with the use of the pieces. From very far away this looks like a real X-Wing. I really like how the used tiles on the wings for the red markings.
Just like every other UCS you have your classic black stand with a plate packed with information of the X-Wing fighter and on top of that you have the X-Wing. For those who are interested in when this set will come out we are looking at a possible release this May 2013. So stay tuned for updates on this new beast!
